Traveling Tutor Sessions

In an effort to expand the Digital Studios services, weve launched the Traveling Tutor program. This initiative involves a tutor coming into the classroom to do one or more of the following:



• Conduct a workshop on a particular program (e.g., Photoshop,InDesign, Wix, etc.) or on a particular concept (e.g., the interplay betweenthe visual and the written word) that is geared toward a specific assignment.
• Provide a helping hand during a workday, most likely by sittingdown with different students and helping them with any questions and/orproblems they may have during the composing process(e.g., troubleshooting aprogram or answering questions about rhetorically-informed design).
• Provide response to students drafts of digital texts (e.g.,multi-media compositions, electronic portfolios, etc.).

In addition to these services, we are also pleased to offer the opportunity for instructors to bring their class into the Digital Studio at Johnston Ground.
